For cats, we currently offer a medical renal diet suitable for cats with chronic kidney failure. This diet contains reduced levels of protein and phosphorus to put less strain on the kidneys and to slow down the progression of the condition.
In some cases, additional medication may be necessary; this should always be discussed with the treating veterinarian.
This food is only recommended if your cat has been officially diagnosed with chronic kidney failure and if a medical renal diet has been advised by your veterinarian.
Please note: We do not yet offer a medical renal diet for dogs. If your dog requires such a diet, we recommend always discussing this with your veterinarian.
